Today, I’d like to share the case of a patient who successfully corrected severe nostril deformity and a drooping nasal tip caused by an illegal injection procedure 20 years ago.

• Complete removal of illegal injected substances

2. Structural Reconstruction

• Rebuilt nasal framework using autologous rib cartilage

• Reconstructed alar cartilage

• Rebuilt the septum

This was a complex case involving severe nasal deformity caused by an illegal injection performed by an unlicensed individual 20 years ago.

The injected material had flowed into the left columella and alar area, causing narrowing and asymmetry of the nostrils.

The primary focus of surgery was the safe removal of all foreign substances. After ensuring a clean surgical field, we reconstructed the entire damaged framework using autologous rib cartilage, rebuilding both the alar cartilage and septum.

Following the patient’s wishes, we achieved a natural yet elegant nose shape — avoiding an overly sharp look while correcting the broadened appearance.

We also lowered the overly high nasal starting point and improved the severely drooping tip, creating a more harmonious and balanced facial proportion.
