1. Preoperative Design
This patient visited my clinic to correct a droopy and wide nose. The nose had a bump and nostril asymmetry, and from the front the nose looked deviated.
2. Surgery Plan
To correct the wide and deviated parts I performed an outer osteotomy, and to improve the blunt and droopy appearance, we used the patient’s own rib cartilage to lift the nose tip straight forward. Since the patient’s original nose bridge was already tall, the plan was to use the rib cartilage to raise it naturally, instead of using a silicon implant.
3. After Surgery Photos

4. General Overview
This patient’s nose bridge was already tall, so instead of heightening it, the plan was to maintain the height of the bridge as much as possible, and shape it by using the self-rib cartilage. Initially,I considered using a silicone implant, but because the patient’s skin was thick and the bridge was high, the plan was changed during the surgery to only filling the missing parts, so the nose bridge was raised with self-rib cartilage.
