Today, I’d like to share a case where we successfully performed bulbous nose correction while improving nasal congestion. The goal was to create a more defined and structured nasal shape while addressing functional breathing concerns through closed rhinoplasty.

1. nitial Observations – Bulbous Nose & Functional Issues

Wide, flat nasal structure

5. Expert Insights – Functional & Aesthetic Bulbous Nose Correction

This case was centered on achieving a natural result through bulbous nose correction, while also improving breathing. The 3-step strategy enabled precise adjustment of skin, cartilage, and projection, producing results that are elegant but not overdone.

Step 3 (projection refinement) was particularly critical for balancing the patient’s profile.

Functionally, the patient experienced improved nasal airflow and reduced congestion after surgery.

All procedures were performed using a closed (endonasal) technique. At Nose Lab, all rhinoplasty surgeries are done non-open.
