Hello. I am Dr. Chayoung Kang, the Director of Noselab Clinic.
Today, we will talk about a surgery that will make a common blunt and droopy nose lookmore beautiful.
Preoperative design
The patient wanted to correct the appearance and straighten a sagging and blunt nose tip, but wanted to do it without significantly changing the height of the tip and not make it look pointy. Since the tip of the nose has volume, it could only be slightly raised, so I went into the operating room with the decision to make it as natural as possible.
Also, the patient’s nose was curved in a C shape from the front, so we decided to correct this part as well.
Before and After surgery photos
Now let’s compare the before and after surgery photos.
The droopy appearance in most noticeable area has completely disappeared. The tip of her nose remained sharp and round, and the line of her nose became softer.
You can see that the area where the tip of the nose looked depressed has improved significantly.
You can see that the bent appearance from the front has improved a lot, and the part where the tip of the nose looked blunt has changed to a much slimmer look.
Looking at the nostrils photo, the asymmetry in which the right nostril is larger and has a different shape than the left has been greatly improved.

Dr. Kang’s opinion regarding blunt and droopy nose rhinoplasty
A blunt and droopy nose is very common to see. There are times when I feel satisfied when I see the naturally-looking beauty after surgery. This patient was worried about big changes, so I think I paid extra attention to it. It seems that surgery to fill in the missing part without a significant change in height is really difficult. Of course, during the recovery period, it will feel higher and more exaggerated than in the immediate photo, but in about 6 months, it will change to the appearance in the immediate photo.
Even a slight change to a blunt and drooping nose can make a huge difference to one’s image. I hope this will be of great help to those who are concerned about a blunt and droopy nose.
