The patient underwent six surgeries over 30 years, but the crooked nose and nostril asymmetry were never fully corrected.

Surgical History:

  • 1990 (Age 31): L-shaped silicone implant

  • 2008 (Age 49): Medpor implant, ear cartilage + silicone

  • 2012 - 2018: Repeated surgeries using ear cartilage + silicone + alar base reduction

Persistent Problems Despite Multiple Surgeries

Despite previous attempts, the following issues remained:

  • Crooked nose remained unresolved

  • Nostril asymmetry persisted

  • Structural instability

  • Chronic nasal obstruction and rhinitis

Root Cause:

  • Severely deviated septal cartilage

  • Central nasal support was not properly reconstructed

This case shows that closed rhinoplasty Korea can fundamentally correct long-standing nasal deformities when the root cause is properly addressed.

The success was possible through a complete septal cartilage reconstruction using autologous rib cartilage, not just external adjustments.

Accurate diagnosis and precise planning are essential for closed rhinoplasty Korea, especially in revision rhinoplasty cases.

The patient’s desire for a natural yet elegant nose was achieved while restoring both function and aesthetics.
