Pre-surgery Evaluation and Design Plan for Hump Nose Correction

This patient visited NoseLab Clinic with a prominent nasal hump and an overall large, bulky nose.

The main surgical objective was to smooth out the dorsal hump, reduce nasal volume, and create a balanced nasal contour that harmonizes with the face.

Before surgery, the nasal bridge was excessively raised, and the nasal tip appeared heavy. Therefore, the surgical plan focused on both hump nose correction and big nose reduction through a closed rhinoplasty approach.

Surgical Plan for Big and Hump Nose Reduction

The operation was performed through Closed Rhinoplasty, which leaves no external scars.

The excessive bony hump was removed, and the nasal bridge was reshaped to create a smoother line.

The nasal tip and alar cartilage were refined to reduce bulk and improve definition.

During hump reduction, maintaining the structural support of the nasal bridge is essential to avoid postoperative collapse. The operation aimed to retain enough cartilage support while sculpting a more elegant nasal profile.

This approach allowed precise hump correction and big nose reduction simultaneously, providing a natural and durable improvement in nasal aesthetics.

After the hump and nasal bulk reduction, the patient’s nasal profile became smoother and more refined.

The prominent hump was corrected, and the nasal volume was naturally reduced while maintaining a stable nasal structure.
