This case demonstrates Bulbous Nose Correction through a closed rhinoplasty approach. The patient presented with a flat and depressed nasal bridge combined with a bulbous nasal tip, creating a round and undefined nose shape.

By elevating the nasal bridge and refining the bulbous tip using autologous cartilage, we achieved a smoother and more proportional contour. The goal was not to create an overly high bridge but to restore balance and natural harmony to the facial profile.

Understanding Bulbous Nose Correction and Flat Nasal Structure

A bulbous nose often appears wide or rounded due to thick skin and excess soft tissue at the nasal tip.

In this case, precise cartilage sculpting was performed to reduce bulkiness and redefine the nasal tip.

The flat nasal bridge was slightly elevated to enhance facial symmetry without exaggeration, maintaining a natural and masculine line.

Closed Rhinoplasty Technique for Balanced Nasal Contour

Using the closed rhinoplasty technique, all incisions were made internally—resulting in no visible scars.

This approach allows precise correction of both bridge height and tip projection, leading to a refined, natural outcome.

The patient’s nose now shows smoother lines, improved definition, and balanced nostril shape.
