Hello, I am Dr. Chayoung Kang, Director of Noselab Rhinoplasty Clinic.

Today I will present a real case of early corrective rhinoplasty performed within 14 days after primary surgery. Early correction is sometimes necessary when unexpected complications or visible deformities appear soon after rhinoplasty.

When is Early Corrective Rhinoplasty Needed?

In general, revision rhinoplasty is performed months or years after primary surgery. However, when severe asymmetry, implant deviation, or skin tension occurs, early corrective surgery within 2 weeks may be considered. This allows timely adjustment before scar tissue and adhesion develop.

Benefits of Timely Correction after Rhinoplasty

By performing the correction within 14 days, the patient avoided severe scar contracture and long-term deformity. Early intervention also shortened the recovery period compared to waiting months for a revision.
