This post presents a case of Closed Rhinoplasty Korea droopy and hump nose correction,

performed to refine the nasal shape by removing the hump, lifting the droopy nasal tip, and lowering the starting point of the nasal bridge for a softer, balanced facial contour.

Functional rhinoplasty was also included to treat nasal congestion and rhinitis symptoms.

Preoperative Analysis for Closed Rhinoplasty Korea Droopy and Hump Nose Correction

Before surgery, the patient’s hump was composed of both bony and cartilaginous portions.

Because the nasion was high, the starting point appeared elevated, and the tip of the nose looked short and droopy.

The surgical plan for this Closed Rhinoplasty Korea droopy and hump nose correction included osteotomy to remove the bony hump and septal cartilage extension to elongate and lift the tip naturally.

From the front view, the nasal bridge appeared wide and slightly deviated.

A lateral osteotomy was planned to improve the bridge’s shape and symmetry.

Additionally, since the left nostril was slightly larger, the nostril asymmetry was to be corrected by alar cartilage repositioning.

Surgical Findings and Results of Closed Rhinoplasty Korea Droopy and Hump Nose Correction

During surgery, the septal cartilage was thinner and smaller than expected, which required delicate handling for both structural and functional reconstruction.

The lateral osteotomy effectively reduced nasal width, and the hump was neatly corrected.

The droopy nasal tip was elevated using septal cartilage, and the columella was lowered to create a natural nasolabial angle of about 95°.

Immediately after surgery:

  • The Closed Rhinoplasty Korea droopy and hump nose correction achieved a balanced bridge and natural nasal projection.

  • The starting point was lowered to align with the pupil line, resulting in a smoother facial proportion.

  • The nostril asymmetry was corrected through cartilage trimming and suturing.

Overall Outcome of Closed Rhinoplasty Korea Droopy and Hump Nose Correction

This case of Closed Rhinoplasty Korea droopy and hump nose correction required meticulous planning because of the thin and curved septal cartilage.

By performing both functional and cosmetic reconstruction, the nasal line became smoother, and the overall facial ratio improved.

After the Closed Rhinoplasty Korea droopy and hump nose correction,

the bridge line now flows naturally into the tip without stiffness, and the lowered starting point enhances balance between the forehead and nose.

Once swelling subsides, the result will appear even slimmer and more refined.

Postoperative precautions and possible complications after rhinoplasty – includes information on infection, bleeding, asymmetry, allergic reactions, and scarring.
