In this post, I’m sharing a complex closed rhinoplasty Korea case. The patient had previously undergone multiple surgeries involving donor rib cartilage and silicone implants, which eventually led to graft absorption, nasal tip collapse, and visible scarring. To restore nasal structure and aesthetics, we performed a full reconstruction using autologous rib cartilage.

Surgical History and Key Problems

This patient experienced chronic issues due to previous surgeries, especially graft absorption and nasal scarring. This case highlights the reliability of using the patient’s own tissue in revision surgery, avoiding further foreign material complications.
