👃 Surgical History and Deformity Overview

his patient had undergone multiple rhinoplasty procedures over the past 22 years, resulting in a severely contracted nose with visible deviation and nostril asymmetry. We planned a complete reconstruction using autologous rib cartilage to restore both function and aesthetics.

  • 2 years ago: L-shaped silicone implant

  • 21 years ago: Revision with silicone + ear cartilage

  • 10 years ago: Rib cartilage, silicone, and alar extension graft

This was a highly complex revision rhinoplasty case with over 20 years of accumulated scar tissue, deformity, and structural loss.

Through Contracted Nose Reconstruction using rib cartilage, ear cartilage, and dermal grafts, we achieved a stable, natural, and functional nasal structure.

The patient reported significant improvement in nasal airflow and nighttime breathing.

All surgeries at Nose Lab are performed through the closed (endonasal) technique.
