From a Curved Nose to a Straight Nose: A Customized Male Rhinoplasty Korea Case
Hello, this is Dr. Cha-Young Kang from NOSELAB Clinic.
Today, I’d like to share a male rhinoplasty Korea case. The patient presented with a curved, upturned nose, significant right-sided nasal obstruction, and excessive nostril exposure in the frontal view. His request was to achieve a straighter, masculine nasal bridge while restoring comfortable breathing.
Patient Concerns Before Male Rhinoplasty Korea

Right-sided nasal obstruction due to septal deviation
Excessive nostril exposure when viewed from the front
Crooked nasal bridge with an upturned tip
Depressed dorsum and high nasal starting point

Surgical Plan for Male Rhinoplasty Korea
Functional Correction (Septoplasty & Turbinate Reduction)
Septoplasty corrected the deviated septum.
Radiofrequency reduction of inferior turbinates improved airflow and breathing.
Septal Extension with Autologous Rib Cartilage
Corrected nostril asymmetry
Straightened the crooked tip
Lowered the upturned nasal tip
Implant Replacement for a Straighter Bridge
Removed the old, uneven implant
Inserted a new implant starting at a lower point for natural balance
Straightened the dorsal line for a stronger, masculine appearance
Nasal Tip and Nasolabial Angle Refinement
Lowered the nasal tip for a natural, masculine profile
Adjusted the nasolabial angle to ~90°, reinforcing a masculine contour
👉 All steps were performed using a closed rhinoplasty approach, leaving no external scars.
Results After Male Rhinoplasty Korea

Frontal View: Nostril exposure reduced, crooked bridge corrected, balanced alignment.

Side Profile: Straight dorsal line, corrected upturned tip, masculine refinement.

Oblique View: Smooth nasal transition from forehead, tip lowered, natural contour.

Nostril View: Improved symmetry and corrected columella position.
Medical Insights on Masculine Rhinoplasty in Korea

This case demonstrates the importance of gender-specific rhinoplasty. In male rhinoplasty Korea, the ideal nose is straight with less tip rotation and a ~90° nasolabial angle, unlike the softer, curved line preferred in female rhinoplasty.
The use of rib cartilage provided stability for correcting multiple deformities, while implant replacement established a masculine bridge. Functional procedures such as septoplasty and turbinate reduction improved the patient’s breathing and quality of life.
At NOSELAB Clinic, we provide tailored solutions for men seeking a nose that is both strong and natural.
Thank you for reading.
