1. Patient’s Surgical History Before Nasal Tip Infection Revision Surgery

2017: First surgery (septal cartilage + silicone implant)
2020: Revision surgery (silicone + autologous rib cartilage)
Dec 2023: Third surgery (rib cartilage + silicone)
Early 2024: Nasal tip infection, swelling, implant removal
April 2024: Scar injection
Aug 2024: Final revision at Nose Lab (rib graft, skin graft, re-implant)

2. Key Concerns Leading to Nasal Tip Infection Revision Surgery

Collapsed skin after implant removal
Pinched right nostril
Redness, discomfort, and bruised columella
Foreign body sensation and aesthetic imbalance

3. Surgical Plan & Execution

Rib Cartilage Reconstruction for Nasal Tip Stability

We used rib cartilage to reinforce the nasal tip and resolve prior inflammation. Skin grafts and tissue repair were performed to reduce discoloration.

Nostril Symmetry and Alar Base Correction

The pinched right nostril was corrected through controlled extension. Both nostrils were reshaped for symmetry.

Internal Scar Tissue Removal and Infection Control

Residual scar tissue and reactive tissue from previous infections were removed. Internal nasal lining was refined to restore comfort.

This nasal tip infection revision surgery focused on long-term infection control and stable structural support. The rib cartilage graft not only restored shape but also prevented reinfection by enhancing vascular integration.

We also emphasized internal comfort by eliminating reactive scar tissue and stabilizing soft tissue layers.
